Required experience: 20-25 years in Environment Health& Safety, Medical, Estate Maintenance& Administration (Preferably 5-10years in completed Ship Yard Maintenance.)

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. In Naval Architecture/Mechanical/Production/Electrical.

Job Location: KATTUPALLI SHIPYARD

Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for Environmental safety, Occupational Health, Security, Estate management and special infra project such as CPCL relocation projects and Housing colony projects.
• Manage EHS functions, implementation & monitoring of safety & Environment policy, adhering to compliances of Safety, Environment, ISO, OHSAS standards.
• Manage the Occupational Health and safety management systems and implementation of related systems and legal aspect thereof.
• Advice site management on various compliance & regulatory requirement / amendments and liaise with statutory bodies as and when required.
• Improve awareness through training and other means communication among the employees regarding Environment, Health, Fire prevention & protection.
• Minimize disruption to production; eliminate lost time due to accidents through proactive measures. Manage the cost by completing the projects as per the budgets and timely execution of various activities in shipyard.
• Responsible for LTSB shipyard, MFF asset protection, i.e. men, material and physical assets
• Motivate subordinates and ensure appropriate training & non-training interventions for skill improvement and development.
• Ensure safe working practices at ship yard by regular Safety Inspections & corrective actions.
• In addition execute any other jobs/tasks as assigned from time to time
