Mercer is seeking a Project Manager to join our team servicing US/Canada regions. This position is a part of a team that provides comprehensive group benefits and human resources solutions to client organizations. The Project Manager is responsible for driving projects from inception to efficient and successful completion, and will work with internal and external clients to ensure that projects of all sizes are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. Project Managers bring their organizational savvy to the entire project life cycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution and stakeholder communications/management. A Project Manager is an established, independent individual contributor, whose work has a direct impact on the teams outcomes
We will count on you to:
- Drive and manage projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of internal or external client satisfaction.
- Supervise and lead projects, managing the project team and delegating tasks as necessary.
- Establish manage and maintain an appropriate project governance structure, and manages all project stakeholders and project team members in the successful delivery of the project, including managing their tasks, project workload, and deadlines.
- Leads activities related to project scope, definition, risk management, and quality assurance to ensure projects deliver expected outcomes.
- Ensures that all project cost and scheduled activities are identified, continuously monitored, and clarifications/changes managed properly to maintain adherence to schedule and budget.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure project milestones are met on time. Conduct team planning meetings, and provide status reports on project progress.
- Liaise with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project as needed
- Interact, communicate and negotiate effectively with project teams, third party providers, clients, etc to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Intimately learn the products and services Mercer offers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Researches, documents and provides recommendations on new best practice standards.

What you need to have?
- Graduate (Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Economics) with minimum 2-5 years’ experience overall in a project management role
- Project management certification
- Intermediate to advanced level knowledge in MS Excel (Must)
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint
- Strong experience in Project/Process/Task Requirements & translating requirements into working deliverables
- Sound knowledge of process documentation, development of SOP, knowledge artifacts
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong experience in Workflow, RCA, Defect Management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral & written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
- Applicants should be flexible working in shifts
- Understanding and experience with the PMI project management process
