Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role within our organization by acting as the intermediary between the business stakeholders and technology teams. This position aids in transforming business needs into clear requirements and maintaining system processes, including mapping process flows and maintaining the integration of existing systems. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of business processes and capable of solving complex business challenges with the use of technology and process improvements. To excel in this role, the Senior Business Analyst must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen sense for generating data-driven solutions that enhance productivity and foster decision making. Moreover, the Senior Business Analyst supports project management tasks, assists with testing, and promotes project alignment across various departments.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and recommend relevant solutions.
  • Develop structured documentation of business requirements and system specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to solicit and refine business requirements as needed.
  • Assist in managing project scope, timelines, and ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Evaluate and map business processes to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights for business decision making.
  • Support software testing and quality assurance by defining test cases and scripts.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and report to management effectively.
  • Foster relationship building across departments to enhance collaboration and integration.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for upper management review.
  • Continuously improve systems by researching and implementing new technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in business analysis or project management.
  • Proven track record in requirements gathering and business process modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies is preferred.
