Job Description

The Procurement Executive will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the sourcing and purchasing processes across the organization. This role demands a strategic thinker who is able to analyze market trends, negotiate effectively with suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. You will work closely with other departments to anticipate their material needs, interact with vendors, and oversee the entire procurement cycle to ensure quality and compliance with established budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers. They will also uphold the company's values in all procurement activities, maintaining integrity and ethical standards at all times.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and assess the impact on procurement processes and strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and acquisition prices with suppliers and vendors.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure high-quality and reliable supply chains.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to determine and anticipate material requirements and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contract agreements, and supplier performance data.
  • Manage supplier relationships by monitoring performance and resolving any conflicts or issues.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the procurement process to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company standards and legal regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analyses and forecasts.
  • Work closely with finance teams to align procurement strategies with budgetary constraints.
  • Facilitate the timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills for effective problem-solving and efficiency improvements.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and standards in procurement and understanding of market trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines.
