Job Description

As a Logistic Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective flow of goods and services. You will work closely with various departments such as sales, procurement, and customer service to coordinate shipments, manage inventory levels, and resolve transportation issues. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to schedule shipments and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and transport costs.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, such as invoices and bills of lading.
  • Resolve issues related to transportation delays, missing items, or damaged goods.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas of improvement in the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement effective logistics solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies regarding logistics activities.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and reorder points.
  • Track shipments and coordinate with warehouse staff for timely unloading and storage.
  • Provide regular logistics reports to management regarding the performance of the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistic Coordinator or similar role within the industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and experience with database management systems.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
  • Familiarity with legal regulations regarding transportation and logistics operations.
