Responsibilities

• Assist senior lab technicians and scientists in conducting experiments and research.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Collect, label, and store samples accurately and efficiently for analysis.
• Record and analyze experimental data, ensuring precision and reliability.
• Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe lab environment.
• Calibrate laboratory instruments under the guidance of senior staff members.
• Document laboratory activities and prepare reports as required by supervisors.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of laboratory equipment regularly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
• Support quality control efforts by performing routine quality checks and tests.
• Assist in the development of new laboratory techniques and procedures optimally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline required.
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
