Job Description

As an Ecommerce Operations Executive specializing in B2C platforms, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing online retail operations to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve coordinating and supervising the end-to-end online sales process, ensuring seamless product listings, efficient order processing, and the execution of marketing strategies tailored for a business-to-consumer environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, customer support, marketing, and tech teams to ensure the e-commerce platform operates smoothly and profitably. Moreover, you will be responsible for analyzing data and performance metrics to propose improvements that drive growth and success in a highly competitive marketplace. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily ecommerce operations to ensure smooth processing of customer orders.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate timely dispatch and delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to maintain stock availability.
  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings to enhance searchability and sales conversion.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute campaigns that boost online sales.
  • Analyze sales data and customer metrics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure all customer service inquiries are handled swiftly and effectively, enhancing satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies for customer retention based on feedback and shopping behaviors.
  • Supervise the implementation of SEO strategies to improve product visibility on search engines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance and present insights to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends and technological advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in ecommerce operations, preferably within a B2C environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sales data effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using e-commerce platforms and tools such as Shopify or Magento.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and embrace change.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practices will be advantageous.
