Job Description

As an Assistant Manager – Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department's operational and strategic objectives. Your keen understanding of human resource practices, policies, and procedures will be instrumental in fostering a productive and positive work environment. You will assist in managing daily HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This position requires a proactive and dynamic individual who can collaborate effectively with HR managers and department leaders to ensure that company policies are upheld while also promoting employee well-being. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process to ensure timely hiring of staff.
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide reports on HR data and trends.
  • Facilitate effective communication between employees and management.
  • Administer employee compensation, benefits plans, and performance appraisal processes.
  • Handle employee grievances and mediate workplace disputes effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and handle audit requests.
  • Assist in the creation of policies and manuals to document HR operations.
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and plan workforce development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR software and databases is preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR-related data and metrics effectively.
