Job Description

An Accounts & Finance Executive plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing an organization's financial data, analysis, and reporting. This position is integral to ensuring that financial operations are efficient, compliant, and accurate. The executive is responsible for maintaining financial health by supporting the budgeting processes, providing insights through financial analysis, and working closely with senior management to implement financial strategies. This role not only involves routine accounting tasks but also requires strategic thinking to contribute to the organization's growth and financial stability. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of financial regulations are necessary for this position. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Manage and oversee the organization’s day-to-day financial transactions and accounting processes.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor the organization’s financial status by tracking income and expenditures.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances that require attention.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the company.
  • Coordinate the internal and external auditing processes and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Evaluate existing financial systems and recommend software enhancements or upgrades.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors to maintain strong relationships.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance for strategic decision-making to senior management.
  • Ensure the timely processing and payment of accounts payable and receivable functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in a financial management role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
