Job Description

The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team of an organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who is skilled in managing sales activities and ensuring that the operations run smoothly. The Sales Coordinator works closely with the sales team to provide administrative assistance, create effective communication channels, and support sales strategies. They need to be adept at handling a multitude of tasks that can range from scheduling meetings to processing orders and analyzing sales metrics. This role demands excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and sales targets. As the central point of contact between the sales team and clients, the Sales Coordinator must also possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to maintain client satisfaction and drive business success.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales team schedules to ensure timely client interactions and meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of sales proposals and contracts.
  • Track sales performance metrics, generating reports for management analysis.
  • Process and manage sales orders and ensure accurate input in the CRM system.
  • Liaise with the marketing department to ensure alignment on sales campaigns.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update client databases with current information and correspondence.
  • Organize sales training sessions and retreats to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Monitor the sales department budget to ensure expenses are within set limits.
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to clients.
  • Prepare sales presentations and conduct follow-up calls to prospective clients.
  • Support senior sales staff in strategic planning and client relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or inside sales support role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales order management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in creating detailed sales reports and executive summaries.
