Job Description

A Field Sales Executive for School Books plays a crucial role in promoting and selling educational materials to schools, libraries, and educational institutions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school decision-makers and administrators.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of the books.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements with schools and educational institutions.
  • Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and sales strategies.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, sales, and marketing activities in the area.
  • Create and submit detailed sales reports and forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Attend educational trade shows and events to promote the company’s offerings.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Stay informed about new products and sales techniques to enhance sales efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field sales, ideally within the educational sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for persuasion.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational materials and the school purchasing process.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using CRM software to manage client relationships and sales activities.
