Assistant Project Manager

SME (Electrical) – Besides any directions/ instructions received from the Project Director, below is the high level roles and responsibilities expected, but not limited to,

• Ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and best practices for data centers
• Provide technical guidance to optimize electrical solutions for reliability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for electrical works
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards
• Review and approve quality-related documentation for electrical systems
• Identify potential risks related to electrical systems and infrastructure and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and report on electrical risk status regularly
• Review and validate electrical work schedules
• Monitor progress of electrical works against the project timeline
• Identify and address potential delays in electrical system installation and commissioning.
• Prepare and present regular reports on electrical systems progress and issues
• Facilitate resolution of electrical-related disputes.
• Handhold the floor managers and assist them with the resources for the work execution and during the testing and commissioning stage.
• Attend all online/ offline meetings, & share minutes with contractor, client and consultant
• Have an overall view on the entire electrical works and push for delivery.
• As a stop gap arrangement, remain the floor managers for 2nd and 3rd floors.
• Own one of the MCE work packages (Marine Electricals).
• Evaluation of milestone achievement
• Be a part of all site walk throughs with the clients, consultants and any other high level visits or client’s customers
• Evaluate the CRF’s prepared by GC.
• Seek instructions from the client and prepare PMI’s and share those with the GC’s and other vendors.
• Support the Civil team whenever required
• Conduct regular meeting with contractor, client and consultant.
• Provide regular observations on quality and safety.
• Work closely with the Cost Consultant and provide inputs on cash flow projections.
• Remain the 1st level point of contact for the Floor Managers and our Electrical team and support them on their deliverables.
• Reviewing & approving SWMS (Safe work method statement) in concurrence with technical consultants and undertaking regular compliance checks of the project’s SWMS to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the SWMS.
• Handing over of the project post completion of works & associated documentation.
• Follow the processes required to set up site Safety and ensure 100 % safe man hours on the project.
