Key responsibilities - will include, but not be limited to:
Responsible for end-to-end GST compliance in the Company
Analyze existing compliance and devise cost efficient GST compliance strategy and process for the company
Implement, all changes in the GST law, efficiently in the Company.
Add value to the business by advising business on implication of GST at bidding stage for external clients within India as well as for cross border transaction with group entities and external clients.
Coach, support and develop GST compliance team in attainment of performance, plan goals, evaluate performance and provide detailed meaningful critical feedback
Educate finance team on changes in GST law through regular updates
Create awareness to business on GST compliances and expectation from them for efficient GST compliance
Document all GST compliance processes
Support Manager in reviewing Internal Financial Control for GST compliance
Ensure renewal of all required insurance policies for the Company well in advance by extracting maximum commercial benefit in favour of the Company
Ensure timely support for all GST related requirements from auditors during statutory and internal audit.
Ensure timely completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliation of all GLs related to GST compliances.
Candidate Specification
Qualified Chartered Accountant with working experience in the field of indirect taxation including GST department of reputed organisation (preferably in-service industry) or Big Fours.
Experience in managing team.
Ideal candidates who have done their CA articleship in BIG 4s would be highly preferred.
Strong analytical ability with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent English (both written and verbal).
Willingness to undertake business travel as required around India.
Flexibility to work with changing environment and longer hours at peak times as required.
