We are looking for a Product Ops. Analyst with 5+ years of experience to be based out of Mangalore office in India and be part of our growth story.

About the team:

As part of our ongoing drive for operational excellence in Product Management we are building up a new Product ops. organization and looking for a new colleague to join team. Product Operations is responsible for the systems, product data, governance, and processes that enables Product Management across EG. We ensure efficient and consistent product operations by maintaining high-quality data, minimizing operational friction, and turning business needs into practical solutions.

Responsibilities:

You will join a small, specialized team working closely with product managers, process owners, and system owners across EG. Your main responsibility will be to manage and enhance the operational foundation for Product Management, including process design, master data, system setup, and governance.

As we are still in the process of building up the team your specific responsibility will change overtime but to start with you will be part of a two-person team with the following responsibility:

  • Act as process owner and SPOC for our operational setup enabling product management.
  • Ensuring systems and processes effectively support both product and data management operations.
  • Lead continuous improvements through standardization, automation, and customization.
  • Maintain and develop frameworks that underpin Product Management and Product Master Data operations.
  • Drive onboarding of acquisitions to our product and data structures.
  • Ensure governance and compliance across product data and operational processes.
  • Lead optimization initiatives to secure high-quality, reliable product master data.
  • Facilitate workshops and consultancy on frameworks and best practices.
  • Ensure a solid data foundation for product reporting, product P&L, and decision-making.
  • Lead or support development of dashboards and reports for product KPIs and data quality insights
  • Support creation of product dashboards and performance analysis
  • Conduct product usage analysis including features, data and integrations (if available)
  • Assist with product support ticket analysis and trend identification
  • Assist with product review process coordination
  • Support product board preparation and documentation
  • Help Product Master data specialist in maintaining product hierarchy and data quality

Over time you will specialize yourself more and more on the Analysis part of the job, but as a member of a small team you should always be willing to help were needed. As part of the team, you will be involved in shaping the future of Product Management at EG, ensuring a strong foundation for our systems, processes and frameworks.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Product Operations, Business Process Management, or similar areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured and logical approach.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of product management in a software organization.
  • Experience with process design, framework development, documentation, and implementation.
  • Technical savviness with the ability to navigate complex systems and bridge IT and business.
  • Proactive attitude, quick to learn, and focused on execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work across cultures and functions.
  • Relevant higher education degree.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
