Job Description

As a Maintenance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the operational aspects of facilities are running smoothly. Your expertise will be vital in coordinating and overseeing the maintenance activities across various facilities and equipment. With a keen eye for detail, you will carry the responsibility of planning strategic maintenance procedures to prevent disruptions. Those in this role need to be proficient in leading cross-functional teams to address facility upkeep, implement preventive maintenance programs, and handle ad-hoc repair tasks swiftly. Your efforts will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while optimizing maintenance operations to contribute to the profitability and efficiency of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and strategies for optimal facility performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or repairs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimum disruption.
  • Maintain a detailed record of maintenance operations and service schedules.
  • Supervise and assign tasks to maintenance staff and service contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all maintenance activities.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting expenses and ordering supplies.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers for sourcing maintenance materials and services.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime.
  • Develop a preventive maintenance plan to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate training sessions for staff to ensure skills are up-to-date with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership position or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management software and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance management.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various departments and stakeholders.
