The Front Office Associate is a pivotal role within the hospitality or service-oriented businesses, acting as the face of the organization. Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet all guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with detailed information.
  • Coordinate room reservations and handle changes or cancellations promptly.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions following organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organized presentation of the front desk area.
  • Assist guests with information about facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Keep accurate records of guest room assignments and reservations.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or issues with utmost professionalism.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring the entrance area.
  • Prepare daily reports regarding occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front office, receptionist, or customer service role.
  • Proficiency with office software and comfortable using computer systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy environment.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
