Responsibilities

• Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area for operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all cash handling and security policies and procedures.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Process returns and exchanges following company policies and procedures.
• Provide customers with promotions and special offers available in the store.
• Coordinate with stock and inventory team to update product availability.
• Assist with inventory management by notifying relevant staff of supply needs.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving store processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for consideration.
• Previous experience in a cash handling role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to numerical detail are essential.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly customer service mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other related technology.
