Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Applications Engineer with strong experience in C# .NET development to join our engineering team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining both desktop (PC) and web-based applications, while collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless integration and secure delivery of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
  • Build and support web applications using ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Blazor, or Razor Pages.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to external teams integrating with our systems, including API usage, SDKs, and data exchange formats.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, sample code, and onboarding materials for external developers.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests
  • Act as a liaison between internal development teams and external partners to resolve integration issues and ensure alignment on technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Identify gaps in the development process and self-start activities to address these gaps
  • Investigate and resolve issues on your own, and then appropriately share your findings with the team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in C# .NET development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with Windows Forms, WPF, or UWP for desktop development.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, or Blazor for web development.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Proficiency with source control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting external developers or partners with API or SDK integration.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, OAuth, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, especially Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate management, and secure communication protocols.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Java is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Cross-Platform Development is a plus
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience And Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’sdegree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master’s degree and 0-2 years equivalent experience.
