A Telesales Executive is a pivotal role in any sales-driven organization, responsible for driving sales through telephone communication. This role requires a persuasive individual who can effectively engage potential clients over the phone, present product information, address customer queries, and convert leads into sales. The ideal candidate should be adept in building rapport with customers, handling objections, and closing sales deals. They should possess excellent communication skills and a results-driven mindset to meet and exceed sales targets. A Telesales Executive often serves as the first point of contact for potential customers, making their role crucial in upholding the company's reputation and driving revenue growth.


Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
  • Answer questions about products or the company to potential customers.
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements and close sales.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed for further discussions.
  • Enter and update customer information in the database accurately and promptly.
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep records of calls and sales, noting useful information for future reference.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction rates.
  • Meet and strive to exceed personal and team sales targets on regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain leads and prospects in the CRM system effectively.
  • Continuously learn about the products and services to enhance sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members to share strategies and improve sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them persuasively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English proficiency.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection with professionalism and resilience.
  • Capable of working independently, as well as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, or a willingness to learn swiftly.
