About the Role:

Apps Associates is seeking a passionate and experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and automating scalable infrastructure solutions to support mission-critical applications across hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for scalable infrastructure-as-code.
• Manage and automate VMware vSphere environments, leveraging PowerCLI and APIs.
• Administer and support AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Lambda.
• Ensure stability and performance of Windows Server environments.
• Write custom Python scripts to streamline and integrate DevOps workflows.
• Implement centralized logging and observability using the ELK Stack.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build resilient and reliable systems.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule and respond to incidents with urgency.
• Maintain and optimize enterprise storage systems (especially Pure Storage).
  
  

• Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles with a strong focus on automation.
• Advanced expertise in Ansible, with hands-on experience using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices.
• Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere administration and automation techniques.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Strong background in Windows Server administration.
• Solid scripting capabilities in Python.
• Experience implementing and managing ELK Stack for logging and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Pure Storage or other enterprise-grade storage platforms.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
