Senior Servicenow Developer

About The Job

The ServiceNow team is a multinational team that supports 70 manufacturing sites and all of Sanofi’s locations in 170 countries using ServiceNow.

Main Responsibilities

Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements.

Development: Develop, configure and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and flows. Be familiar with creating and maintainting catalog items, record producers, and order guides.

Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

Configuration: Configure ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.

Scripting: Write and maintain complex script includes, client scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other custom scripts. Strong proficiency in Flow Designer and Workflow Editor required.

Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality and functionality.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and processes.

Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver robust solutions.

Best Practices: Implement and promote ServiceNow best practices and industry standards.

Support: Provide advanced support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Skills:
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and components.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Clear and effective verbal/written communication
• Active listening and ability to provide constructive feedback
• Critical thinking, Problem-solving & Strategic planning
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  
  

Proven track record of leading successful ServiceNow projects.
