We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Be required to support and develop strategic solutions within the MI function as per the initiative driven by project. You will need to be proficient in QLIK development (Qliksense and Nprinting) and having experience of Looker on Cloud would be advantageous.
• Design, develop and deploy MI solutions capable of meeting the anticipated load, performance, availability, security and resilience requirements.
• Within the role, individual will also be responsible to engage with various parties within a project, understand requirements, ask relevant questions to refine them along with project lead to come up with a technical design and solution.
• The role will require you to follow and lead IT change control processes.
• Developers will be expected to work and follow agile ceremonies across projects and programs.
• Developer will be expected to understand Compliance data landscape and develop solutions as per recommended strategic data utilization for MI various across programs/projects.
• Support reviews and on-going refinement of the existing Qlik dashboards used for MI.
• Track record of working through the project life cycle and managing them independently.
• Exhibit highest standards of ownership & accountability.
• Good interpersonal skills – ability to engage with stakeholders when needed.
• Good team working skills – working with other developers, BAs, managers, etc.
• Highlighting and raising risk, issues and challenges to key stakeholders.
• Managing stakeholder expectations related to timelines and deliverables - includes setting the right expectations consistently and meeting/ exceeding them regularly for the team
  
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in data visualization, design and development in Qlik Sense is mandatory.
• Experience in other MI visualisation tools such as Looker would be advantageous.
• Experience of Cloud technologies such Google Cloud Platform is advantageous. Use of Cloud technologies in report server and report creations would be beneficial. Use of Looker on Cloud skills would be advantageous.
• Experience of implementing complex Visualization, design, development and data solutions using Qlik.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets, data storage, ETL and data modelling.
• Experience in development of QlikSense extension and Mash up development using Java Scripting frameworks, CSS and HTML is beneficial
• Experience of SQL is required. Big Data and Hive skills along with data visualization will be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience of implementing CI/CD within Visualization solutions will be advantageous
• Understanding or experience in Banking, Anti Money Laundering, Payments, Compliance, Analytics, Risk.
• Track record of working through the Agile project life cycle.
• Ability to create and execute test plans, reviewing system and interface data
• Ability to work unsupervised at times and direct own work.
• University Degree (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to clearly articulate implications of technical analysis to colleagues and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to convey information in a way that is clear, succinct, and easily understood by all parties involved in a project.
