Onsite Infrastructure Support Resource (225-617)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and server-related issues onsite.
• Monitor and maintain network systems, ensuring optimal uptime and performance.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components efficiently.
• Conduct regular system audits and prepare detailed reports on system performance.
• Assist in the setup and deployment of network infrastructure equipment and cables.
• Manage backup systems and ensure data integrity and recovery capabilities are intact.
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement infrastructure improvement strategies.
• Provide support for IT projects, including upgrades and new installations.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Train and help users on best practices in utilizing IT resources effectively.
• Manage user account setups, permissions, and password changes on various systems.
• Respond to and resolve incidents in accordance with service level agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS operating systems.
• Experience with network administration, including VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
