Job Description

The role of an Officer in Manufacturing Process Operations is crucial in ensuring that the manufacturing activities within a company run smoothly and efficiently. This pivotal position is responsible for overseeing various processes involved in the production of goods, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The officer collaborates with different departments to optimize manufacturing workflows and maintain production schedules. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory and supply of raw materials.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to address and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Implement continuous process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all manufacturing activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine new manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on production metrics and performance indicators.
  • Manage and train production staff to maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure all equipment functions safely and effectively.
  • Identify and manage risks in the production process to minimize disruptions.
  • Liaise with the quality assurance team to uphold product quality and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational standards essential.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and MS Office applications necessary.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach required.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams efficiently.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
