Job Description

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Coordinator is a pivotal role within the hospitality industry, responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional food and beverage services. This professional plays a crucial part in coordinating activities between the kitchen, service staff, and customers to ensure seamless operations, contributing to an unforgettable dining experience. The F&B Coordinator is also responsible for assisting in planning, organizing, and managing various events and functions, ensuring that all guest requirements and expectations are met to the highest standards. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills to handle the various tasks and challenges effectively. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the daily operations of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, parties, and special functions.
  • Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Prepare and manage the staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage for operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Implement and uphold company standards and policies related to food and beverage services.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure food and service quality meet guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and improve food and beverage offerings.
  • Supervise and train staff on best practices for food handling and service techniques.
  • Ensure accurate billing and handle any payment discrepancies or issues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an F&B role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and inventory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
