Enterprise Tech Administrator III – End User Support

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Tech Administrator III (Senior System Administrator) with deep expertise in End User Support to lead and support enterprise-level endpoint technologies. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing desktops, laptops, virtual desktops, and mobile devices across the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient end-user environments while mentoring junior engineers and acting as the Level 3 escalation point for all End User Support-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support Administration

  • Administer, support, and optimize End User Compute platforms including Windows 10/11, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
  • Package, deploy, and manage software updates and patches using tools like Microsoft Intune.
  • Ensure compliance with device security standards (BitLocker, Defender, antivirus, encryption, MDM).
  • Drive automation for endpoint configuration, patching, and monitoring.

User Experience & Support

  • Act as L3 escalation point for complex end-user issues.
  • Analyze endpoint performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Enhance desktop login times, application delivery, and remote access performance.
  • Provide guidance to IT support teams and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Security & Compliance

  • Enforce security policies, MFA, and endpoint compliance in collaboration with Security teams.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities on endpoints and EUC infrastructure.
  • Lead EUC audits and reporting for compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, internal IT controls).

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Lead projects such as OS upgrades, endpoint tool migrations, and VDI rollouts.
  • Mentor junior system administrators and desktop engineers.
  • Document EUC standards, knowledge base articles, and deployment procedures.
  • Partner with business units to enhance user productivity through reliable end-user systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 7+ years of IT experience in End User Computing or Desktop Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, macOS, and the M365 ecosystem.
  • Expertise with endpoint management tools (SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop).
  • Proficiency in automation (PowerShell preferred).
  • Knowledge of identity and access management, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security (antivirus, patching, encryption, MFA).
  • Proven administration and daily system management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Cloud EUC experience (Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC) is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications (MCSA/MCSE, VMware, ITIL) are a plus.
