Codetru - Tableau Developer - Python

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tableau Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience in building intuitive dashboards, data visualization, and data structuring workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, along with experience in data ingestion from multiple sources, data modelling, and working with structured and semi-structured data to deliver business insights.

Working hours are from 7 : 30AM-4 : 30PM and WFO only.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements.
• Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and understand data visualization needs.
• Ingest data from various sources including databases (SQL, Snowflake, Redshift), flat files (CSV/Excel), cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), and APIs.
• Develop robust ETL workflows using tools like SQL, Python, Alteryx, Talend, or native BI tools to clean, transform, and structure data.
• Create and manage data models and metadata for reporting purposes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability.
• Optimize Tableau performance through data extract strategies, indexing, filtering, and dashboard optimization techniques.
• Ensure data governance, security, and access control protocols are followed in Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments.
• Conduct data validation and QA for dashboards and data pipelines to ensure reliability and accuracy of visualizations.
• Stay current with Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
• Strong experience in data ingestion, transformation, and structuring from multiple source systems.
• Familiarity with data warehouses and cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse).
