The teams mission is to design and integrate an intelligent AI Assistant, employing Generative AI technology, into our existing web application ecosystem. As Associate Director, you will lead a diverse team of highly skilled engineers and data scientists who are passionate about utilizing cutting-edge technology to achieve transformative business outcomes.

What Were Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our Generative AI engineering initiatives. This leadership role combines deep technical expertise in back-end development with strategic team management, specifically focusing on C#, Java, and Python technologies. You will drive the architecture, development, and integration of AI capabilities, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, into our existing web application ecosystem while leading a team of talented engineers to deliver transformative AI solutions.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; masters preferred
- Leadership Experience: 3+ years of engineering management experience with teams of 4+ people
- Technical Expertise: 7+ years of experience building enterprise-scale software with C#, .NET, and modern web frameworks
- AI/ML Background: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Large Language Models, machine learning frameworks, or AI application development
- Cloud Proficiency: Advanced experience with AWS services; deep knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway)
- Frontend Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) and their integration with AI services
Preferred Qualifications
- AI Expertise: Extensive experience with LLMs, OpenAI API, Azure AI Services, or similar platforms
- Framework Experience: Proficiency with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or other AI orchestration frameworks
- Enterprise Architecture: Experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed AI systems
- Agile Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Business Acumen: Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
