Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization

The Architect provides quality and timely design deliveries of Adidas stores and other tasks issued by the Architectural Team Manager/Senior Architect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that the design solutions developed comply with the construction market standards and regulations, safety requirements and internal design standards of Adidas Retail concepts.
  • Provides support in preparation of design drawings in accordance with the approved schedule of drawings.
  • Prepares Terms of Reference for related organizations.
  • Performs visits to measurements of premises, architectural supervision, acceptance of construction and assembly works.
  • Develops design drawings in accordance with local government regulations wherever required.
  • Sales area zoning (product by product), capacity calculations preparation.
  • Layout of non-standardized marketing zones / elements
  • Consistency of layout and façade across all markets.
  • Branding & key elements placement in line with adidas standards.
  • Preparation of different zoning plans, elevations & façade for internal market discussions.
  • Lighting arrangement plan (issue of tender assignment to supplier, checkout of the received project)
  • Provides high-quality and timely completion of the specifications for ordering retail equipment and furniture in accordance with the concept of the store / type of projected object
  • Support the team in preparing drawings during the time limited projects.
  • Work closely with Omni channel team on the bubble plan & merchandise zoning plans.
  • Work closely with team manager on the digital consumer journey & other key experience layouts.
  • Track the assigned projects timelines closely in line with adidas standards.
  • Present weekly updates to the team with progress & work trackers.
  • Completes necessary training to develop knowledge and skills
  • Keeps informed of changes in project documents and specifications through email and comments on the project schedule.
  • Keep updated with current trends of retail & best practices from different marketplaces.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture
  • 6 - 8 years of professional work experience
  • Previous industry experience including Retail sporting goods, fashion, FMCG
  • Cross-functional experience ideally with Business development, IT/ Retail operations & Supply chain.
