Primary Responsibilities

  • Build extensible and reusable user interface and service components for seamless customer experience
  • Partner with Tech Lead and Delivery Lead to bring creative technology and solutions to solve healthcare problems
  • Drive adoption of enterprise strategies in product and ensure alignment of solutions with business and broader engineering teams
  • Accountable for software deliverables along with quality and compliance
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion to prioritize, plan and manage the activities of the team
  • Adopt and drive security and compliance requirements to ensure product is secured
  • Assist in tracking team security vulnerabilities, reporting on vulnerabilities and quick remediation of the same
  • Gather information and give thoughtful updates on the progress of different projects
  • Be available for War Room response, that is support the team in the unlikely event of a production outage
  • Mentor team members to deliver high quality software
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the engineering processes, tools, and methodologies. Identify areas for optimization and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, helping them overcome challenges and make informed decisions
  • Partner with broader engineering team to drive innersource adoption and platform engineering
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Web, Service and data, including hands-on development
  • 2+ years of experience with building pixel-perfect user interfaces
  • 2+ years of experience with microservices/APIs with deeper understanding of client and server topology and communication using Java/Spring Stack
  • 2+ years of experience working on infrastructure as code, such as Terraform
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise security and production operations, including logging, monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident management, with 2+ years of experience
  • Extensive experience in promoting engineering-first and security-first approaches to achieve desired outcomes
  • Hands on experience with docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
  • Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical role or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with React, NodeJS, Mongo, and Cloud, AWS
  • Hands on experience with GIT, CI/CD Tools and Application Monitoring tools like PDC, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace etc.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry
  • Experience in Data Science
