Tech Lead/Sr Software Engineer - Java/J2EE, SQL, Fintech Experince

Preferred Location: Bangalore / any where in India

Exp: 10 to 14 years

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and J2EE technologies, including frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend applications and business processes.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, database administrators, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in Java, J2EE, and related backend technologies.
• Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard backend systems and sensitive data.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
• Experience in the payments domain is considered a strong advantage.
  
  

• 10 to 14 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in mobile wallet, fintech, payments, and digital domains
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Apache Wicket.
• Solid experience with SQL and database design principles.
• Proven experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
