The Senior Analyst, Social Media will be responsible for timely, accurate and detailed reporting, along with discovering insights from data and recommending and presenting actions to improve business results for social content and Brand protection. This role will be the point person for functional reporting and metrics and will show proactive leadership and a commitment to both detail and accuracy. The role will also lead setup, access, usage guidance and governance of technical social tools for social content delivery and Brand protection with regional teams and global operations. This position will report to the Director External Marketing, Social Media.

This position will have full responsibility for data integrity and organizational reporting for social media. He/she will also be required to analyze data daily, weekly, and monthly and present findings along with areas where he/she identifies room for improvement.

The individual must have a passion for data, visualization and insights including marketing, social, owned, earned, and paid, and an understanding of how all combined produce actionable insight to improve business results.

In addition, this position will assist the Social Cares Team (SCT) and Cyber Defense Operation Centre (CDOC) and advise the appropriate resolution of alerts on social properties. He / she will also coordinate metrics, reporting, analysis, and insight across all global social networks with regional marketing, along with creating, and providing leadership, oversight, and governance of the global social technology and business intelligence framework.

  • Design, enhance and produce social content and brand protection functional performance reporting – (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
  • Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report – recommend best practice
  • Examine and evaluate purpose and content of functional reports to develop new formats or improve existing format for quick and effective consumption and action.
  • Be able to clearly track & articulate business impact and results of social functions and activities.
  • Analyze trends to identify risk and opportunities, and potential ways to address.
  • Deliver robust analysis and recommendations derived from social operations data and reports to feed into strategy, campaigns, content, and Brand protection planning.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for specific events, activities, and campaigns.
  • Execute on a roadmap to advance our social reporting, dashboards, and analytic capabilities for Business-to-Business (B2B) and Employer Brand (EB).
  • Help design solutions to aggregate data via export, import and even API from various social management tools into reporting, analytics, and visualization solutions.

  • Bachelors Degree in related field from a four-year college or university with 2 - 4 Years of Experience preferred.
  • Sense of professionalism and ability to develop relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail especially with numbers, data, reporting and visualization.
  • Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.
  • Excellent Microsoft office/Excel/Word/Power Point/Outlook application skills required.
  • Strong communication skills: visual, written and verbal, and the ability to interface with cross-functional teams and a variety of audiences in a professional way.
  • Prior experience in generating or analyzing reports and analytics.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen combined with superior analytical and data skills. Ability to translate data into digestible stories and actionable insights.
  • Insatiable appetite for understanding real-time digital data and metrics as well as patterns and trends combined with the ability to visualize data for quick and effective consumption, comprehension, and insight.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.), social listening and content tools and experience working with Google Analytics preferred.
