About The Role

We are seeking an experienced IBM ELM Solution Architect with a strong background in system engineering and software development lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IBMs Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) suite and a deep understanding of OSLC, REST APIs, and integrations with third-party tools.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while playing a key role in defining scalable architectures, driving ALM transformation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities- Lead technical design discussions and propose end-to-end solutions for systems engineering and software development lifecycle requirements.

• Define, document, and implement scalable and maintainable architectures using the IBM ELM suite including :
• DOORS Next
• Engineering Workflow Management (EWM)
• Engineering Test Management (ETM)
• Global Configuration Management (GCM)
• Develop and maintain solution roadmaps aligned with enterprise Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) transformation goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify future needs, and translate them into actionable architectural plans.
• Design integrations with third-party tools using Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), RESTful APIs, and the RTC SDK.
• Define and oversee implementation plans, ensuring consolidation of changes and delivering solutions within agreed timelines.
• Provide guidance on best practices for version control using Git-based systems (desired).
• (Optional) Utilize Python scripting for automation and application development tasks.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience working with IBM ELM tools, including : / DOORS Next
• Windchill Modeller
  
  

• In-depth knowledge of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC).
• Experience integrating IBM ELM with third-party tools using OSLC, REST APIs, and RTC SDK.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and application development (optional but preferred).
• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document architectural designs and implementation plans.
