Job Description

Job Summary

This position helps support the retail Point of Sale (POS) system for The UPS Store locations and is based on Microsoft Store Commerce app (previously MPOS) and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to assist in with regular service updates, including merging company specific customization extension as well as extensions from Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
  • Knowledge in developing Store Commerce extensions for Point of Sale, Commerce Runtime and Hardware Station that include the creation of trigger & handlers.
  • Experience with D365 extensible data security (XDS) policies.
  • Modifies D365 user interface based on business requirements using X++.
  • Performs debugging and unit testing of D365 solutions.
  • Promote D365 models from development, test, and staging environments.
  • Support, maintain, and modify existing systems and integrations.
  • 3+ years of overall professional experience in D365 for Finance and Operations.
  • X++ development experience and following D365 Finance and Operations best practices.
  • Microsoft Dev Ops, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.

Technology

  • D365 Finance and Operations and Store Commerce App (formerly MPOS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred
