What You Will Do

  • Manages internal projects
  • Budget as detailed in Impact section Large/ complex/ single or multiple regions.
  • May include detailed design of sponsors high-level concept High risk.
  • Manages project financials including business impact
  • Meets or exceeds approved budgets.
  • Provides reliable financial forecasts to Management.
  • Manages stakeholder relationships
  • Manages upper level stakeholder relationships.
  • Manages project team
  • Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size generally greater than 20 people from multiple countries.
  • Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.
  • Provides detailed performance review input and development recommendations for team members.

What You Need To Bring

Education and Experience Required:

  • First Level University degree.
  • 7+ years in project management roles or in like roles/businesses.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key Services operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
  • Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.
  • Makes use of and contributes to Services PM Profession community.
  • PMP Certified.

Key Responsibilities

Assignment and Coordination:

  • Review proposed opportunities on a daily basis and assign Delivery Stakeholders via RADAR based on Product Lines and Solution Attributes - APS and GL Flex including APS and MS
  • Align PSD Early Engagement with CXO Early Engagement on deal basis for alignment during Day -1.
  • Ensure all identified Delivery Leaders, Lead Delivery Solution Architects and Program Managers are added to the extended team to access deal artifacts.
  • Coordinate with the Delivery Manager, Lead Delivery Solution Architect (LDSA) and Program Manager (PM) to periodically schedule (at least every 2 weeks) the Early Engagement Status meetings to monitor Solutioning contribution.
  • Secure proper handover and information for a successful Start Right session,

Risk Management

  • Collaborate with the LDSA and PM for the proper assessment, management, and mitigation of risks raised by delivery stakeholders (via a maintained EPPM based risk log).
  • Consult with all Delivery Reviewers to ensure all points raised in the EER review have been addressed and document the outcome.

Communication And Reporting

  • Share status reporting on Solution contribution by the LDSA and PM from status meetings and update RADAR.
  • Inform all parties when the EER has concluded for the Opportunity, highlighting any points that need to be confirmed at the PSR or a final pre-PSR review if required.

Delivery Opinions And Recommendations

  • Ensure that EER recommendations are addressed in the Delivery Opinion.
  • Author a delivery opinion summary for inclusion in the Start Right process.
  • Participate in the Start Right process to review delivery risk logs with the assigned LDSA and PM.

Budget Management

  • Setup, administrate, report, and ensure the closing of the Delivery Bid Budget.

Deliverables

  • PSD Delivery Assurance PM daily reviews the RADAR triggered opportunity together with the Delivery Management (A&PS and GL Flex including A&PS/MS).
  • SPOC between the Pursuit team (Solution Architect) and Delivery (Delivery means all delivery units and from all BU’s).
  • Coordinates with LDSA to schedule the Early Engagement Review (EER) meeting with the assigned Reviewers, the Presales Solution Architect (SA) and Deal Manager
  • Coordinates with the Delivery Manager, LDSA and Program Manager (PM) to schedule the Early Engagement Status meetings to monitor Solutioning contribution.
  • Works with the LDSA & PM for the proper assessment, management and mitigation of risks raised by the delivery stakeholders (the risk log)
  • Periodical status reports on progress of the Solution contribution by the LDSA and PM and updates of status in RADAR.
  • Consult with all Delivery Reviewers to confirm that all points raised in the EER review have been addressed. If all points have been addressed, respond to the Presales SA accordingly. If any points have not been addressed acts accordingly and documents outcome
  • Inform all parties when the EER has concluded for the Opportunity and highlight any points that need to be confirmed again at the PSR or a final pre-PSR review if required.
  • Ensures that EER recommendations at EER Review are addressed at Delivery Opinion.
  • Authors a delivery opinion summary as part of the delivery opinion for inclusion in the Start Right.
  • Participates in the Start Right process to review the delivery risk logs with assigned PM.
  • Setup, administrate, report and secure closing of Delivery Bid Budget.

Skillset

  • High level English language proficiency both oral and written
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of the SSDG process
  • Basic understanding of Enterprise architectures
  • Understanding of Project and Program Management principles (EPPM and LPE).
  • Basic understanding of the interoperability of delivery functions within a solution (APS, OS, MS, HPC, Aruba, Greenlake)
  • Basic understanding of risk relationship to deal margin (prevent margin erosion).
