Instrumentation Engineer

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for design and engineering activities in Oil & Gas projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence. Offshore and LNG experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in Oil & Gas projects; Offshore and LNG preferred.

• Responsible for Quality, Budget, and Schedule of instrumentation activities.
• Exposure to proposal execution, including man-hour estimation and EPC proposals.
• Experience in FEED, Basic Engineering, and Brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Participation in SIL, HAZOP, and FAT activities.
• Site exposure preferred.
• Effective coordination with vendors, clients, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Review of P&IDs.
• Preparation and review of general specifications, design basis, and specifications for field instruments and valves.
• Hands-on experience with sizing calculations for accurate design.
• Preparation and review of RFQs and TBEs.
• Review and approval of Vendor Documents (VDR).
• Exposure to process and utility packages, including interface reviews.
• Preparation and review of design deliverables (hook-ups, layouts, wiring, MTO, and construction contractor inputs).
• Proficiency in all SPI (INTOOLS) modules.
• Preparation and review of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for control systems (preferred).
• Exposure to control systems such as DCS, ESD, and F&G (preferred).
