• Develop a solid understanding of Containers and Docker.
• Gain experience in using Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
• Interface with the Ford Cloud Portal team responsible for maintaining Serverless bundles.
• Work with team members to establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
• Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and anticipate future challenges.
• Create and maintain Terraform modules and documentation, often with a paired partner, to deliver user stories that contribute to a valuable working product.
• Develop automated processes to simplify the experience for application teams adopting Serverless and GCP Native services like Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Eventarc, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, etc.
• Improve continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and enhancing quality gates based on past learnings.
  
  
  

• Highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and an understanding of emerging technologies (including GCP Native Services, Tekton, and Terraform).
• Demonstrate a high level of technical competence and maturity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including business users and technical colleagues.
• Ability to assess and resolve business user needs.
  
  
  

• 2+ years experience with operational user support.
• 2+ years Docker/Containerization experience.
• Experience executing ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, and Change management.
• Understanding of Networking and Network Architecture.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
• Familiarity with GCP Native Services, Tekton, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud services or any other public cloud services, especially serverless offerings, is a plus.
• Understanding of Google Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and various authentication/authorization options. Working experience in CI/CD pipelines, including building continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Tekton or similar technologies.
• Understanding of GitOps and other DevOps processes and principles.
• Knowledge of any programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Understanding of agile methodologies and concepts, or experience working in an agile environment.
