We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating our billing operations effectively, ensuring that invoices are generated, verified, and processed accurately. You will work closely with finance and accounting departments to ensure that invoicing processes are streamlined, and payment issues are resolved promptly. Responsibilities

  • Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner to clients.
  • Verify invoice details with corresponding purchase orders and contracts for accuracy.
  • Maintain updated billing and account records for all clients and transactions.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure all payments are properly credited.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address billing questions and disputes.
  • Conduct regular audits of billing records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement improvements to the billing procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing monthly billing reports and financial statements.
  • Track outstanding account balances and facilitate timely collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines effectively.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and client information.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and compliance regulations in billing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a billing or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to manage multiple billing processes and meet strict deadlines.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and confidentiality in financial operations.
