Team Manager - Digitalisation

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate people leader with technical experience to lead one of our digitalization teams. This role requires a deep understanding of IoT technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You as Team manager will collaborate with stakeholders across the globe, understand requirements of those of Epiroc’s customers and internal stakeholders to enable teams deliver most appropriate solutions in shortest time using agile methodologies.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for recruitment, mentoring and coaching as well as performance reviews for your teams. You will build and manage cross-functional agile teams with high competence in niche technical areas. You will encourage and nourish innovation in teams and be available to remove hinders that teams may face.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand technical requirements from stakeholders, build teams and help teams delivering right solutions
• Be approachable and available to stakeholders and to team
• Actively work to remove any hinders for teams
• Empower innovation in teams and dare to think new
• Develop and lead a business driven competent and trusted teams supplying scalable digital solutions and services in a professional manner
• Manage the budget, resources, and timelines of projects.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT technologies and incorporate them into the development process.
• Mentor and coach team
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading IoT projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of IoT architectures, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience working with programming languages such as C#, .NET, React, Python, or Java.
• Experience working with AMQP, MQTT
• Experience with IoT platforms and cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge in cloud infrastructure
• Background and experience from Mining/Construction or similar industry
