As a Senior Product Manager on the Alexa India team, youll spearhead the development and evolution of Alexa and Alexa+ experiences tailored for the Indian market. This pivotal role requires you to foster collaboration across diverse teams including Engineering, Product Management, Technical Program Management, and User Research. Youll be responsible for identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmaps, and translating customer insights into compelling features that drive adoption and engagement. Your strategic vision will shape Alexas direction in one of its fastest-growing markets, as you work to build critical capabilities essential for success in India. This position demands a proven track record in product management for consumer-facing technologies, a strong grasp of AI/ML applications, and the ability to influence and drive results across global teams. Key job responsibilities

This role cuts horizontally across many capabilities like speech, model performance, latency, partnerships with the goal of delivering a great Alexa experience for Indian customers/users.

Some Key Responsibilities Include

• Launch planning for Alexa plus
• Identify strategic initiatives spanning 1-3 years that will drive the growth for Alexa in India
• Partner with language comprehension teams to blend India voice patterns into the voice model.
• Partner with Alexa product/Engineering teams across multiple geos to build India tech innovation and localize global features for India.
• Drive new feature launches and continuous improvements in collaboration with IN product, Analytics, Tech, Beta and other partner teams.
• Partner with WW teams, set up mechanisms, frameworks to drive feature awareness for India.

As a Senior PM for Alexa India, youll put customer needs at the forefront of decisions, lead without formal authority, navigate uncertainty and make decisions with limited information. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience owning technology products
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Prior experience in working with GenAI powered products
