Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant professional certifications (e.g., RN license, PMP, etc) are preferred.
Minimum of 6–7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Health Millennium Physician solution areas, including Dynamic Documentation, MPages, PowerChart Office Organizer, Orders, and both ambulatory and inpatient physician workflows, with proven experience across design, build, testing, deployment, and optimization.
Strong knowledge of physician clinical workflows, including documentation, order entry, clinical decision support, and cross-team collaboration with nursing and ancillary services.
Expertise in Cerner fundamentals such as Preference Maintenance (prefmaint), Privilege Maintenance (privmaint), Discern Rules, and integration with physician-facing tools and modules.
Demonstrated ability to lead workflow assessments, system configuration, and optimization projects, working directly with physicians, clinical leadership, and IT teams.
Experience developing physician-specific training materials, adoption strategies, and workshops to support successful implementation and change management.
Proven capability to analyze physician workflows, identify optimization opportunities, and design scalable solutions aligned with organizational, clinical, and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills to build consensus between clinical and non-clinical teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite client support, participate in on-call, and flexibility for evenings/nights/weekends during physician-area implementations and Go-Live activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Health Millennium’s broader platform, including integration of Physician solution areas (Dynamic Documentation, MPages, Orders, Organizer, ambulatory and inpatient workflows) with nursing and ancillary modules.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations in India (e.g., NABH standards) and awareness of global physician documentation and clinical decision support best practices.
Certification in Oracle Health (Cerner) Physician solutions or related healthcare IT credentials.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-focused environment, ensuring physician workflow adoption and alignment with patient care goals.
Responsibilities
Engage directly with physician stakeholders, clinical leadership, and care teams to design and localize optimizations in Oracle Health Millennium applications, ensuring alignment with physician practice patterns and organizational goals.
Lead assessments of physician-specific workflows, configurations, and integrations, facilitating discussions to recommend and implement enhancements that improve clinical efficiency, documentation quality, and patient safety.
Manage physician-area deliverables for multiple concurrent optimization projects, from requirements analysis and solution design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Provide expert guidance on Millennium platform customizations relevant to physicians, including Dynamic Documentation, MPages, PowerChart Office Organizer, Orders, and ambulatory/inpatient physician workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including nursing consultants, IT analysts, and operational leaders, to ensure seamless physician workflow adoption while minimizing disruption to patient care.
Develop training materials and physician-focused adoption strategies, conduct workshops or virtual sessions, and offer ongoing consultation to enhance physician proficiency and system utilization.
Monitor physician workflow outcomes, track key clinical and operational metrics, and report project progress to both client stakeholders and internal leadership.
Stay current with Oracle Health Millennium updates, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements that impact physician documentation, order entry, and clinical decision support, applying this knowledge to proactively guide optimization strategies.
