Software Engineering Manager II

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects.
• 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, scoping, navigation, and outcomes for some combination of a large work group or a long time horizon.
• Manage team staffing, career and performance management, and foster successful group dynamics to accomplish the teams mission. Ensure the teams technical complexity is manageable.
• Support the team to improve their productivity or solve ambiguous problems with available AI/ML methods.
