Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases and test scripts to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements
Plan and execute functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing activities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation frameworks/tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, or similar
Identify, document, and track defects clearly, thoroughly, and accurately using defect management tools
Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and provide valuable QA insights. Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Prepare comprehensive test summary reports, including clear communication of issues, risks, and overall product quality to stakeholders
Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
4+ years of professional experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing
Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber etc.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as NodeJs, Java, Python or JavaScript
Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Proficient in defect management tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Proven excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest-Assured etc.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
