About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop, drive, and implement compensation strategies
  • Establish compensation programs and solutions
  • Oversee compensation analytics to support a large, complex business within a division, ensuring alignment with key organizational goals
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Compensation, preferably in a Banking Industry
  • Strategic thinking and good business judgment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of compensation strategies for highly complex business groups.
  • Highly effective consultative mindset with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated skills in influencing and navigating across a complex, highly matrixed global organization with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proactive control and risk management, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients in a dynamic environment.
