In the Anaplan Model builder role, you will have the opportunity to support Integrated Business Planning global process for Electrification business line

ABB is adopting Anaplan tool for driving the demand, inventory and supply planning processes. Accordingly, we are looking for an experienced Anaplan Model Builder with solution architect capabilities to join our team. This role is a part of COE team and requires an individual who can not only develop and maintain complex Anaplan models but also design and architect scalable solutions that align with our strategic business purpose.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain modeling, a deep understanding of Anaplans platform, and the ability to handle and guide the implementation of robust supply chain planning and IBP solutions.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote

This role is contributing to the ABB Bangalore, India

The Anaplan Model Builder candidate must be able to:

• Assist in the collection of business requirement and current-state process mapping exercises required to build a user story associated with a new or enhanced capability. Articulate design and documentation for Anaplan models (process map, user guide, solution design document)
• Translate business requirements in the form of excel models and/or user stories into efficient and scalable high-functioning Anaplan models. Successfully identifying various dimensions, lists(hierarchies) and line items, thereby creating a user-friendly solution
• Create Hub-spoke & ALM structure along with user experience pages using the NUX. Develop and enforce best practices for Anaplan model design, including modularity, reusability, and performance optimization.
• Co-operate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Anaplan and other enterprise systems (Snowflake, SAP, IICS).
• Collaborate with the Business Process Owners to stay current with business design and supporting solutions
• Work with subject area data experts to identify new or enhanced data to support the new or enhanced capability
• Support UAT on the technical and functional acceptance, provide training sessions to educate end-users and stakeholders on Anaplan functionality and best practices. Help driving change management initiatives for adoption. Provide support for the in-place Anaplan models as well as systems and data integration
  
  

Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 4+ year working with data as either a data or business analyst. 1+ year working with databases
• 3+ years modeling with Anaplan, senior role in 2 end-to-end Anaplan implementations. 2+ years working in Excel
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Critical thinking and Analytical problem-solving skills
• Full Anaplan Model Builder certification or Anaplan Solution Architect certification
• Understanding of the forecasting process and various business functions (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in working in an Agile environment
