The RTX Enterprise Services Applications Org. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP ABAP FIORI Developer with at least 6+ years of expertise in supporting and enhancing SAP systems, specifically focused on the CMES (Common Manufacturing Execution System) platform. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions that align with RTXs manufacturing and operational requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP development, FIORI applications, and manufacturing execution processes.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, forms, interfaces, and workflows to support CMES-based manufacturing execution processes.
• Design and implement SAP FIORI applications to enhance the user experience for CMES operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support the integration of CMES with other SAP modules and third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMES processes and technical components in a timely manner.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency of CMES-related SAP applications.
• Provide technical documentation, including program specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continuously improve system performance and user satisfaction.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on manufacturing execution systems such as CMES.
• Working knowledge of IM, WM modules with Handling Management Units for packing-based logistics structures.
• Familiarity with other ECC SAP modules such as MM, PP, or QM that integrate with CMES processes.
• Proficiency in SAP FIORI application development, including SAPUI5, OData services, and Gateway architecture.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing execution processes and their integration with SAP systems.
• Expertise in ABAP programming techniques, such as ALV reporting, BAPI, BADI, user exits, enhancement spots, and Smart Forms/SAP Scripts.
• Experience with system integration technologies such as IDOC, RFC, and Web Services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
  

• Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, or QM that integrate with CMES processes.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
• Certification in SAP ABAP development or SAP FIORI application development is a plus.
