Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Fiori Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP Fiori applications, as well as enhancing existing solutions to meet business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Fiori, UI5, and related technologies, combined with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Availability for at least a portion of US standard workday each shift for job hour overlap with other team members
• Develop and customize SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and OData services.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Enhance and maintain existing SAP Fiori applications to optimize performance and user experience.
• Collaborate to design and develop OData services using SAP Gateway for seamless integration with backend systems.
• Perform end-to-end application testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Fiori applications and related components.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Basis, Security, and Functional teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, development guidelines, and operational procedures.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Fiori development, with a strong focus on SAPUI5 and OData services.
• Hands-on experience in developing responsive and user-friendly SAP Fiori applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.
• Strong understanding of SAP Gateway architecture and OData service creation.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and understanding of Fiori design principles and theme development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and scaled agile framework (SAFe).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Fiori certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ABAP development and debugging is a plus.
• Experience with VSCode and Github for development.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution in SAP.
