About The Team And This Role
Hunter. This word describes this role. This is part of the growing small sales team, with a singular focus on hunting for new leads. You must have a relentless hunger for outbound sales work. Cold emails, cold calls and cold LinkedIn msgs. It is hard and you need to have a fire in the belly for this - it shows immediately if you have (or if you don’t). You don’t need to close - that is done by the AE’s. You need to hunt and qualify new prospects, and book them in for demos with the AE’s. You can also learn to close and assist the AE. Your target will be based on SQLs. The sales team reports to the CEO. You’ll be based in our Bangalore office, and work late shift (usually afternoon to midnight).
Responsibilities
Familiarise yourself deeply with all products and services offered by the company.
Understand tax and accounting to the required level to sell. Find answers from internal and external sources to satisfy new leads.
Assist the AE in closing deals.
Become an AI expert. AI SDRs won’t replace you but they will help you. Harness them.
Harness Clay, intent-tools, enrichment tools, dialers, domain warmups and more.
Cold email = become an expert and A/B test what works.
Cold LinkedIn messages = build your network and help the CEO too.
Cold calling = A/B test what works here and scale it.
Attend conferences, mixers and webinars.
Quickly qualify prospects and assess the necessary steps to complete a new business transaction.
Manage and maintain the velocity of all deals through the pipeline and document all activities and forecast business diligently within our CRM.
Achieve and exceed quarterly quota goals.
Who We’re Looking For
1-4 years of SDR experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
Extreme proactiveness. This is the number one trait we’re looking for. We will not micromanage you - you must be a complete self-starter, and make yourself super busy and just hunt without being asked.
Very high attention to detail.
Working with lots of softwares - speed is of the essence, and you must be comfortable using AI tools to get even faster.
Communication is key: you’ll need very strong English (written and spoken).
Travel when required in India and the US, but based in Bengaluru.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, based in our Bengaluru office, you’ll hopefully be fine to work afternoons until late nights, in order to collaborate with our SF office and customers/partners.
