THE ROLE:

Join our team as a Principal Tech Lead, Software Engineering focusing on the technical vision, design, development, execution and maintenance of Trintech’s integration platform.

The candidate will be required to oversee technical aspects of the project along with developing high-quality software that meets user and business needs. This will involve analyzing requirements, writing efficient code, conducting thorough testing, and providing regular initiatives update to the Stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with Blazor/ASP.NET, REST APIs, API Management, and Kubernetes. This role also involves close collaboration with teams to meet complex initiative requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, develop, RESTful APIs and implement Blazor components and pages for building Trintech’s Integration Platform site and back-end systems.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, and validation functionality and configuration process.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technology advancements.
• Operate in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment where attention to detail is critical.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement a comprehensive solution.
• Participate actively in planning, analysis, and estimation of backlog requirements, developing technical specifications and plans.
• Conduct technical research to recommend new technologies to improve team productivity, code coverage, security, performance, and enhance deliverables.
• Provide tactical directions to the team, ensuring code and software meet user and business requirements.
• Adhere to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, delivery, and maintenance.
• Produce well-designed and testable code to ensure application quality and stability, refining and rewriting as necessary.
• Develop automated tests to validate functionality and ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and address defects/issues in code as part of development and maintenance.
• Create and maintain a streamlined deployment process for Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Create documentation, including design specifications, technical diagrams, API references, developer guides, and user manuals.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing feedback on architecture, design, and code quality to maintain high standards of software.
• Work with minimal supervision while meeting job requirements and relevant deadlines.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.
  
  

• Master’s degree in computer science with 10+ years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience with .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET/Blazor, and ORM frameworks.
• Familiar building integrations and developing connectors in iPaaS platforms, exposure to Boomi Atmosphere would be ideal but not essential
• 4+ years of experience in REST API design and implementation
• Strong capability in system design and documentation. 2+ years of experience in creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents to guide development teams.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database)."
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and maintenance.
• Proficiency with environment components such as Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Spring Cloud Config, or similar technologies.
• Working knowledge of Cloud services and application deployments
• Proficient with Azure Pipelines or similar deployment technologies
• Experience working with test-driven development and automation frameworks
• Experience in implementing robust security measures within software applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and addressing potential vulnerabilities.
• Ability to define and adhere to technical standards within a software development team. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively lead a team.
• Ability to strongly influence peers and technical staff within the team.

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is a huge plus
• Experience working with the integration platforms (iPaaS) is preferred
