Job Title: Principal Analyst ATR BU INDIA
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: Manager – ATR BU INDIA
1. Purpose of the role
End to end closing from GCC through required co-ordination with various GCC teams as well as Country and Zone Controllers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and MICS & SOX requirements.
Drive continuous improvement projects and ensure process standardization across Zone
The position holder is also responsible for tracking business performance, ensuring compliance, and alignment of Cost Centers to all financial transactions. Knowledge of Fixed assets, Capex, Intercompany accounting & General ledger
Activities pertaining to monthly closure along with accurate reporting to stakeholders and activities pertaining to capitalization/divestment/Project Management and Intercompany transactions will also be a part of this role
2. Key Tasks & Accountabilities
Lead month-end closure activities across functions
Be a subject matter expert to all control related activities
Work in close contact with Business teams and co-ordinate on getting things completed
Lead COGNOS (financials) submission to zone and global
Lead Audit data co-ordination
Prepare the SIPOC, MICS and track the MCRS
Monitor and track the month close and also provide the status to management
Review and manage the end-to-end ATR processes (GL, Intercompany, Capex & Inter unit) and Fixed Assets (Project – Capitalization – Divestment)
Track and Monitor Intercompany transactions and report and ensure adherence to Global policies
Implement Global Reconciliation policies across functions
Lead a team of ATR Processors in daily work activities – assign and review quality of work
Interact with internal and external auditors; liaising on audit closures
Drive process standardization ensuring globally compliance and adherence to controls
Cognos reporting – Preparation of BS & PL and submission of Supplementary schedules as per the global deadlines
Assist in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Monthly Reports
Act as a Local Subject Matter Expert (SME) of entire region for all Finance and Control activities
Assist in implementation of Delegation of Authority (DAG) and all published company policies having financial or commercial implications & Support Operations
Qualifications, Experience, Skills
Level Of Educational Attainment Required
Chartered Accountant or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Previous Work Experience
Minimum of 6 years to 8 years in a controlling or financial reporting position.
Demonstrated experience in process and system improvements.
Technical Skills Required
Proficient in SAP, Power BI, COGNOS (knowledge of these platforms would be a plus)
Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong understanding of Client business requirement and priority.
Good-to-have: Proven leadership qualities with the ability to inspire action and deliver high-quality results.
Other Skills Required
Strong at accounting concepts.
Good at analytics.
Understanding Financials and impact.
Leading projects/ process improvements for operations can be an added advantage.
